This fabric is also approximately 1.5 mm thick, with insulated microfibers integrated within the fabric. These fibers are extremely strong and gives the fabric a spongy feel.
The fibers are surrounded by a smooth, tightly knit polyester finish

Sourced from a blend of polyester and spandex, this fabric is double-knit, meaning it features two knitted layers interconnected by an interlock core. This manufacturing process makes Neoprene Scuba (3 mm) fabric stretch 20% vertically (from selvedge to selvedge) and 5% horizontally (parallel to the selvedge), in addition to varying in this thickness between 2 millimeters to 3 millimeters. Measuring 58 inches wide, this fabric has a 350 GSM, and weighs approximately 19.3 ounces per linear yard.
